Stopped in for lunch on our way to OC and we were so glad we did! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner who was warm and welcoming. He offered menu suggestions and they were spot on. We had the surf and turf platter and the fish tacos. Both were outstanding but I have to say that the mix of scallops, shrimp and crab with the homemade sauces in the fish tacos was out of this world. The best part was how Mauricio shared stories with us and made us feel at home. He is a selfless man who truly seems to want to help others through his gift of cooking and giving heart. What a fantastic experience. I would go out of my way to return to this establishment next time I'm down south.

The food is excellent! Great quality. I ordered a lobster burrito and it was HUGE! The owner was very sweet and accommodating. The place is clean and service was quick. This type of customer service is very hard to find nowadays. I wish I took a picture of my burrito before I scarfed it down

AMAZING service by the store owner. Friendly and genuine person. Food was delicious. Will definitely be returning and recommending this spot to other.

The fish tacos were nice and crunchy and the cashier was nice enough to give me a free fountain drink.

This is one of our favorite taco shops in San Diego. We've picked up dinner from here several times, even choosing to bypass closer shops in Mira Mesa to hop over to PQ. I usually get the California burrito but have also tried the fish tacos and enchiladas and I enjoy them all.

Amazing service!!! Wonderful Food!!! They went out of their way to let you know this is Your home away from home and that you were welcome! The food was fresh, savory and well seasoned. He gave us a side of rice and beans when I realized they were not included with my meal, for free and he bought our sodas . Then in the middle of the meal, he brought us a plate of fresh Banuelos and gave them to us and every table in the restaurant for free with dairy free whipped cream and caramel sauce. Comfortable atmosphere and nice seating area outside. The food is very good and the portions were large with the price, not breaking the bank. This place is great highly recommended good food and great people !

We have great Mexican food in San Diego. I'd say this falls into the Mexican seafood category. Fresh fish and seafood can be found in their dishes. The crab enchiladas were excellent. It's not usually something I would order but the owner, who is such a gentleman, told me they were worth it and I took his word for it. I was glad I did! The meat isn't bad either, the California burrito was good too. The ambiance is causal and clean. The owners are attentive, friendly, and gracious. There is a level of customer service and friendliness you don't often find these days. "This is your house." was said to us a few times, and we felt they truly wanted us to enjoy our meal. We will be back!

Delicious food and warm friendly service - this place is a gem. My coworkers have been telling me about their "best Mexican seafood" spot for months and so was excited to finally make my way over here to give it a try. After much hmmming and hawing over the extensive and delicious looking menu, I landed on one of their house specials: The seafood burrito. What a treat! It was huge and loaded with fresh shrimp, crab, scallops, bacon (!!), veg, and cream sauce. Pure seafood goodness without a single grain of filler rice (if you've eaten seafood burritos at chains, you'll know what I'm talking about - quit that and come here instead!). Despite its massive size, I was somehow, through sheer willpower and unwillingness to waste any deliciousness, polished off all but a few scraps of tortilla. The owner also treated our group to a basket of bunuelos (I told you, amazing service) which were so delicious i somehow made room. Light and crispy with a drizzle of caramel and whipped cream. This place is a special treat (read: not on my diet) so it will take me awhile to work through the rest of their beautiful menu, but I'm looking forward to trying their lobster burrito and their fish and scallop tacos.

When you are here you are FAMILY!! My husband introduced me to Mi Ranchito and I'm obsessed. Quite literally. We live up in Vista and whenever we are in the area or really within 10 miles we make our way over here. The food is SO fresh and yummy. They have a salsa bar that is always stocked with fresh salsa to go with your chips that they give you when you sit. Our favorite thing to order to the seafood taco. It has scallops, crab meat, shrimp, a delicious sauce and bacon! Trust me. It is the reason we come here. You cannot go wrong with it! Their salmon taco is also DELICIOUS! It had a pineapple marinade on it and it's unreal. The staff here is so helpful and kind. They get you all that you need while you're there. The ambiance is very casual but fairly clean.
